They don’t usually rupture, if they do they cause a lot more swelling and pain - you’d need to get an emergency biopsy. It’s not dangerous as such. The body re absorbs the fluid. (Gross but our bodies do great things to repair themselves)
Find out if it’s cystic or solid) and the other 2 were solid. I wouldn’t worry about a cystic one causing cancer....usually your solid ones are caught before due to the pain they cause. The PEI is a good procedure if it is causing you problems. But hard to find a Gp that will carry out the procedure. Make sure they do follow up ultra sounds at the 6 month mark. Good luck!
