Brain fog is an umbrella lay term used to describe the neuro symptoms. It's a feeling that I think varies from one person to the next but generally, the similar descriptions include distorted sensory perception, feeling of floating, short memory, inability to visualize or do simple math in your head (you know how you can add say 20 + 34? With some people their symptoms makes even simple visual math like that impossible or difficult when it hadn't been a problem before), and some people describe it as outter body feeling.
For me I felt vertigo and was easily confused. I couldn't visualize mathematics (like mentioned above).
It's so difficult to describe and cast in feeling that the term "brain fog" while not a formal diagnosis, helps in explaining the sensation.
