New beginnings
If you have you most recent blood test results with the lab ranges, post them here and someone will comment.
Dear Teri bear,
You could well have thyroid issues and it would be good to post your results. You can ask for them at surgery and if you can get them for your latest and any previous blood tests we can have a look.
However your symptoms are shouting low B12 to me and blood results for low B12 are not really very helpful. NHS choices advise that you are treated according to symptoms for this and not blood tests but so few drs realsie or understand B12 issues. I suggest to have a look at Dr Chandys B12 support on line and make contact so Dr Chandy can assess or have a look at pernisious anaemia site. The sooner you are treated the better for this. You can get B12 lozenges or may need injections or patches.
Hi, I've been told I have fibromyalgia by a doctor. The other docs told me it's just a word they use when they cannot tell from bloodwork what is going on. I've had EVERY test imaginable done. I do have low B12, and was getting injections, still get one every 3 months. I have nerve damage, they believe from low vit b. BUT I also have every symptom of hypothyroidism. ALL tests including antibioties are showing nothing. I had an ultrasound last year of thyroid, didn't show much. Had another ultrasound last month which is showing calcification in a nodule that has grown in the past year. The radiologist is recommending a FNA, needle biopsy. You have to be an advocate for yourself or someone who can. I refuse to give up until I have an answer. Best of luck to you. I also have daily headaches but my neuro said they're due to knots across my shoulders & they're not migraines. I feel your pain, sick of living on headache meds. And generally feeling terrible everyday.
