Took 200mg of levothryoxine tablets instead of 100mg by accident

Me being an idiot as I am, i took 2 tablets in the evening instead of 1 dose. The GP has prescibed me 100mg to take everyday, which means i doubled my dose. Will I be okay, is there going to be any side effexts?

You could carry on regardless or skip a dose tomorrow, the choice is yours. I doubt that a single extra pill will do much, unless you are incredibly sensitive to thyroid hormone or are relatively new to it. But skipping a dose tomorrow won't do any harm either.

I have done this before and was absolutely fine. In fact I felt better for having more! I am sure I read that some people take their whole week's dose in one day.

once per week dosing is not recommended, I think helvella and Diogenes posted about this yesterday or day before

Miss tomorrow's dose - it isn't fast acting. You can apparently take a whole week's levo in one go (but I have never tried it)
