My TSH level was around 3.6 in May & we're trying to conceive. I asked GP for levo to be increased so went from 175mg to 225mg. Since then I've had 3 normal periods in July, Aug, Sep. Need to get levels checked again but seems kind of coincidental that when my levo was increased I started having natural periods. I have PCOS so either have a natural period every 3-4mths or take a pill to induce one. This is the first time for years that I've come on naturally. Anyone else experience this?

Hi Gwin, I had the same. Started Levothyroxine in April. Hadn't had a period for at least 4 months and as soon as I started the Levo I've had a period every month.

It is common for people with hypothyroidism to have erratic periods when they are not sufficiently medicated. I have read that your TSH should be below 2 if you want to become pregnant, and not face an increased risk of miscarriage.
