HbA1c tests for diabetes, yours is low in range so it's fine.

CRP is an inflammation marker, yours is nice and low so it's fine.

Insulin seems fine.

Testosterone seems fine.

Progesterone - I can't comment, no idea.

Thyroid antibodies are nice and low so no indication of autoimmune thyroid disease with those results.

Thyroid results - it would help to know what you are taking.

TSH is higher than where most people feel well, that level is generally 1 or below for a treated hypo patient.

FT4 is low in range, FT3 higher in it's range than FT4 is in it's range. Maybe you're taking NDT or a combo of Levo and T3.

rT3 and ratio are within range.

Magnesium is low in it's range, which is quite common for most people. Supplementing might not be a bad idea.

Ferritin at 45.6 (20-150) is too low. This needs to be half way through it's range, with 100-130 apparently recommended for females, and an absolute minimum of 70 for thyroid hormone to work. Supplementing with iron tablets (1000mg Vit C with each tablet to aid absorption and help prevent constipation) and retesting to keep at the correct level, or eating liver regularly (no more than 200g per week due to it's high Vit A content) and eating lots of iron rich foods will help apjcn.nhri.org.tw/server/in...

Vit D at 72 is too low. The Vit D Council recommend 100-150nmol/L so you could supplement with maybe 2000iu daily along with D3's cofactors vitamindcouncil.org/about-v... . Retesting once or twice a year when supplementing is recommended vitamindtest.org.uk/index.html

B12 is just about approaching OK. An extract from the book, "Could it be B12?" by Sally M. Pacholok:

"We believe that the 'normal' serum B12 threshold needs to be raised from 200 pg/ml to at least 450 pg/ml because deficiencies begin to appear in the cerebrospinal fluid below 550".

"For brain and nervous system health and prevention of disease in older adults, serum B12 levels should be maintained near or above 1000 pg/ml."

If you want to supplement then it should be with sublingual methylcobalamin lozenges 1000mg daily along with a good B Complex to balance all the B vitamins.

Folate is good.

Cortisol is low in it's range but I personally would want a 24 hour 4 sample saliva test for cortisol and DHEA included for proper analysis.

Thank you so much for the reply!! Ok I have antral gastritis and I'm wondering if it's causing absorption issues!! My vit d was at 18 a year ago in march I've been taking 2000iu everyday since, I also take magnesium Dailey and I've been using floradex twice a day but no movement on my results. I have been treating my adrenals for the same length of time but haven't had much improvement in the way I feel!! I went to see Dr Peatfield he diagnosed my as hypothyroid and with hashimotos just by looking at me? My sister has a bad case of hashimotos and a cousin so he was convinced it was genetic!! He put me on a product called metavive II it made me feel really poorly I was convinced my adrenals crashed. I've come off it and gone back on it twice with the same result bed ridden 😩 Is this due to my iron being low? My sister is still on a child's dose of NDT for the last 3 years and is unable to push her meds up I'm worried we're going to be the same although her lab results are worse them mine bless her

If Vit D a year ago was 18 you should have had loading doses, not 2000iu daily. I got my severely deficient level of 15 up to 200 in 2.5 months by taking 40,000 daily for two weeks followed by 5000iu daily. I now maintain it at between 100-150nmol/L by taking 2000iu daily and I prefer mine to be at the top end of the range.

I don't know anything about antral gastritis but I suppose it could be causing absorption issues.

Floradix and other liquid iron supplements tend to have lower elemental iron content than iron tablets. Some people do well on them, some don't. I raised my ferritin from 35 to 91 purely by eating liver every week, approx 140-150g weekly.

No thyroid medication can work unless ferritin is at least 70, and other vitamins and minerals need to be optimal.

You really need to speak to Dr P about your Metavive and how it's affected you. It's not something I'm familiar with.
