Medichecks do three t3 tests ie t3, free t3 or reverse t3. Which one do i go for. Never had a t3 test before as doc and endo won't do one for me.

No, the NHS don't usually test these as they think they don't give much information. For us, the patient, it helps. Ask for a Free T3 and I'll give you a link and you can see the reason for it.

Levothyroxine is T4 only. T4 is inactive and has to convert to the Active hormone, T3. If we have insufficient dose of levo we will not have sufficient T3 to get into our T3 receptor cells so wont feel so good.

If you're having FT3 tested, then do FT4 at the same time as that will tell you whether your T4 to T3 conversion is good or not.
