I hope you're able to get your med dosing fixed soon Elizabetha3. Good luck to you, and hang in there 🌷
Thank you The_will_of_ Jill. I just wonder why my new Endo put my on Armour 120 (after him having me on Armour 90). My TSH was 7.6, with T3 & T4 in the normal range. When I came to his office I was on levothyroxine 175, which I am now finding out would equate to Armour 160.. At this point, I am afraid to even drive. I've only been on Armour 120 for 3.5 weeks. If he is a Specialist, and my numbers are almost 3x the normal range, he must know I would end of in a total state of lethargy. I just don't ''get it". I can't even take another blood test for another 3 weeks.. Thanks for your concern.

You're in California? Was it your idea to switch to Armour? I just switched from Synthroid 125mcg a day, and Cytomel 15mcg a day- to WP Thyroid 65mg a day (which is a notch less than the Synthroid equivalent) and still taking the Cytomel 15mcg also. I go for blood work in early September. Still feeling lousy, but now I have hope from learning all these things, and talking to all these other people who do "get it" 🙂
I don't yet feel knowledgeable enough to give advice on how to handle your doc though. I'm still trying to figure out how I will handle mine : /
Best of luck to you, and I'll be watching for updates on your progress (thinking positive)🌻
Yes, I'm in California. I've had a thyroid condition for 19 years. It was my new MD (new Health Ins) as of Jan 2017 that asked me if I was interested in seeing an Endocrinologist. I was on levothyroxine 175 for several years, then, that Primary care Doc retired, and new MD told me my numbers said I should be on a lower dose...I tried levo 150 for a solid year (mid 2012-2013). I immediately gained weight and became very lethargic, and more classic signs, even split second black outs Since mid 2013 til June 1, 2017 I was bumped back up to levothyrxine 175. So..... with this brand new Insurance, my MD listened to me..Before going to the Endocrinologist, I had never even heard of Armour. Cannot find much info in the USA. The UK (this site) has tons of info. I trust the Specialist, however, I just don't understand why he started me on 90 MG of Armour. I started taking 120 MG Armour, as of July 20, because my TSH was 7.6 , with T3 and T4 in the normal range. I just have to sit this out and wait another 3 weeks, and re-test. My mind is so fuzzy, foggy, and in a haze, that I will not even drive til who knows when. Lucky for me I'm retired. All other body functions are in check, so I know it has something to do with my thyroid. For those who may not know, TSH controls energy throughout your body. In the USA, the 'normal range is .04-4.0..Sorry this is so long, but hopefully it is informative to someone. Thanks

You could remove two of the names you don't want.
support.healthunlocked.com/...
Thank you shaws ~I've changed my name twice already (by accident) which this sitesaid 'was the limit to change your name. I prefer Elizabetha3 , not QE3SamDiego or QE3SanDiego. If you are an Administrator, can you please do it 'for' me?
I am unable to remove the two names I do not want. I am in a hazy fog and cannot figure it out..Site says, choose wisely, as you can only change your name twice. I am bouncing between 3 names. Kindly do it 'for' me. Thank you
