Hi all..

Wanted some advice. How many days or hours gap should I give before a test of thyroid

A gap of 24 hours for T4 and 12 hours for T3. :)

Greygoose means leave off Levo for 24 hours and T3 for 12 hours. Take your medication after the blood draw.

When having thyroid tests, if you leave off meds as indicated, book the earliest appointment of the morning, and fast overnight, this gives the highest possible TSH which is needed when looking for an increase in dose or to avoid a reduction.
