Should I take Thyroxine before test?

I'm super dizzy the whole day so I'm gonna take a thyroid test to check my hypothyroidism levels.

Should I take the thyroxine the day I have my blood taken for the test in the morning?

Granwei It's generally said that when having thyroid tests we should have the test done at the earliest appointment of the morning, fast overnight, and leave off Levo for 24 hours. This gives the highest possible TSH when looking for an increase in dose of Levo or to avoid a reduction. So if it the TSH result that is important, then don't take your thyroxine before the test, take it afterwards.
