After my last posts " Worried" I am not getting the symptoms I had before when my doctor requested I see an endo specialist. My heart beat is under 100, trembling better than it was. Not quite so tired, can sleep without the swooshing in my ears.
Is it possible that I have recovered and do not need treatment. Please give your thoughts on this, and has it happened to anyone you know.

If you are booked into to see the endo then go and see him/her. The reason for this is you don't want it to be recorded as the patient didn't attend in case you need an appointment in the future. Unfortunately some hospitals record patient cancellations like this.
Thank you blue bug, that's a really good thought, I would hate to be locked out, just in case. Do you think it's possible that I am recovering without medical help?
I was referred to endo after blood test showed overactive thyroid. By time I got to endo (about 6 weeks later) bloods were tending towards underactive. I had graves 3 years ago so we all thought I'd relapsed. Endo thinks that my overactive thyroid this time may have been caused by thyroiditis which can settle without treatment so it can happen. Your next blood test should help to clarify what's going on though. Best wishes.
