Sleep in the sun if there's a garden attached (as long as it's not too strong) Don't tire yourself out with cooking - bring food with you so it's ready to assemble and eat (and doesn't require much clean-up if you're renting the cottage. Or, cater the basics for yourself and rely on a good local deli for the rest if it supplies 'ready to eat' meals?
Do you know what is nearby for you and the mutts to visit should you feel the urge and the energy?
Sun would be lovely!! A little nap with the mutts in the sunshine would be fab.
There's a few castles and pubs within a short drive/walk and I think the nearby town has some nice food shops. I enjoying cooking but I am planning what to take otherwise I ending bringing loads back.
I have despatched a friend to go buy a random collection of nice smellies from Lush so I can have something akin to a luxurious soak
I couldn't find a video that wasn't a bit too circus-oriented but this gives a flavour: [edit out as not working]
Good idea of the pure yoga side of it: [edit out as not working]
I do the type that uses the hammock (like in the videos) rather than the yoga sling that uses much less fabric and you can't stretch out in it.
A lot of the classes are a good mix of the yoga and the very fun circus stuff that is hugely enjoyable.
Inverting is a lot of fun and makes me giggle hopelessly at times. As the videos show, the fabric supports you round your back and legs so you're never in danger of slipping out or hurting yourself.
I like it a lot because if you've got any musculoskeletal niggles, you've got the confidence to try out some moves and positions because you know that the hammock can support you if you decide that you can't hold a position and there's no risk that you'll injure yourself (within reason).
I'm sorry, but those links didn't work. But, I think I get the picture. Sounds like great fun. But, I'd never find anything like that round where I live. You have to go for miles to find even an ordinary yoga class!
