Hi everyone so nice to get to chat to others with thyroid problems I've just had a diagnosis of under active thyroid after having symptoms for years and have started on Levothyroxine I also have extremely high levels of antibodies in my blood anyone else have this problem

Hi Juanita, most people with hypothyroidism have antibodies (Hashimoto's) some have low antibodies others have high. Mine were over 1000 on my latest test, not sure of the actual number because the lab's range ended at 1000. But I've heard of people with much higher antibodies than that too! It's fairly common
