Vit B12 please help with interpreting results.

My latest result was

B12 966 (211-911)

I have been supplementing with 20mcg B12 and was taking these the days before the test, although not on the day of the test. Would this mean that I don't need to supplement any more or is the result not true, and therefore much lower, because of supplements?

Lisan1,

The results is what it is. It is high because you are supplementing. How low was it before you started supplementing?

It was 560 but then I was still taking a multivitamin.

I have been supplementing for 3 months.

What do you think about Vit D 75 nmol/l. No ref range.

Lisan1,

560 isn't low. I wouldn't have bothered supplementing with B12 560.

VitD 75nmol/L is replete. I would continue supplementing until you can get several hours sun on your face, arms and legs each week.
