Forgot to add on to my earlier post had cholesterol results back to (fasting)
My total is 6.2
Triglycerides 0.7
HDL 1.9
LDL cholesterol 4
serum cholesterol 3.3
Non hdl cholesterol 4.3
They are keen to put me on statins but i really dont want to any thoughts would be appreciated

Of course they want you on Statins - they are well rewarded - either with Funding Points or otherwise. Ask them to provide research to show how you will benefit from taking them ....
Just always remember you can be written a prescription for Statins but you don't need to take it to the pharmacist to get it dispensed.
And even if you are accidentally given the tablets as you have multiple prescriptions you don't have to take them.
