TOTAL THYROIDECTOMY AND MENSTRUATION

Hi everyone,

I had my tt last year November and two things I notice was that I feel weak on my two hands and my menstruation was 41day before it come and the flow was not ok. the worst of it is that if I wee it will come out with blood but my pad is not wet. am just 8 weeks on levothyroxine. please what do I do.

Sorry to hear about your surgery.

Do you think you may have blood in your urine? You will want to go to the gp w that just to exclude anything serious.

It is very early days and I suspect you may be undermedicated (the big gaps between periods may point to that). It will take some time to get your meds right. Ensure you're being tested regularly (don't let them make you wait more than 8wks between tests) and get copies of your results. If you post them here it may be possible to make some sense of what's going on.

Thank you puncturedbicycle for your quick response.

I appreciate but the blood started wen the menstruation came and up to a week still seeing blood when I wee.

My appointment is march and am on levo 150mg just reduced early this month from 200mg.

I think I need to c my Doctor then before my appointment day.
