Please help to interpret my daughter's blood test...she is on 100 Levothroxine at the moment....

I have UT as well, so it must run in the family....

Any comment would be much appriciated!

Your daughter needs a higher dose of levothyroxine.

I would also say that she should have been having blood tests every 6 weeks or so, and a 25mcg increase in her dose until her TSH was quite low in range.

For her doctor to have dragged out inadequate treatment for so many months is unforgivable.

Your daughter's dose should be increased every 6-8 weeks until TSH is 1.0 or lower. Read Treatment Options in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_...
