Bad breath and hypo

Anyone suffering from bad breath linked to your hypothyroidism? Anything that can be done about it?

How do you know it's linked to hypo? In what way linked? I don't think I've ever seen it on a list of symptoms.

However, it could be due to low stomach acid. Most hypos have low stomach acid, and the undigested food ferments in the stomach. That could produce bad breath. Do you have acid reflux? The answer to that is to raise the acid level in the stomach by taking a teaspoon of apple cider vinager in orange juice, before a meal. Or taking betain and pepsin, which you can find on Amazon.

Thank you for your reply. Low stomach acid is an issue with me - I'll pay it some more attention.
