This original article was published on 7 November 2014 but an updated version has appeared... He's obviously got another tour to promote, but if he thinks for one moment that he's doing hypothyroid patients any favours whatsoever by peddling his 'cure' he can think again... Tosser comes to mind!

I assumed that this has just come up as a related story since he's in the news for mouthing off about Corbyn.
Just a thought. How do we know Mick Hucknall is not on this blog under a pseudonym? He could be reading all our comments.
And recovering, it would seem.
from an earlier post:-
Occasionally patients do get better, for example transient hypothroidism after pregnancy, but unlikely in this case. Time will tell.
Sorry but I think it's irresponsible to advocate not taking levothyroxine or NDT or T3. After all, they're not really drugs - just replacement hormones that the body needs and is not producing, hence the hypothyroidism. People can actually die of untreated hypothyroidism never mind the terrible quality of life in the meantime!
Stating the obvious but....
Two comments :
1) He's a total wally.
2) His problems with hypothyroidism aren't "side effects" they are symptoms! Duh!
Someone should tell him that thyroid hormone replacement isn't a drug! And, someone should find him a new endo, because any endo that thinks you can get 'it sorted' in three months or, alternatively, cure it with diet and life-style, should be struck off! Still, time will tell...
And, of course, all those people who read about how he has cured himself now think that the rest of us are just milking it, and are obviously not looking after ourselves appropriately. I have enough of a problem with people thinking I make up all my symptoms, and Mick maintaining that he is "cured" doesn't help
I guess it would be very interesting to find out how he's coping after his 'cure'... The original article was written almost two years ago. Has he remained 'cured' or has it come back?
