Oh thankyou very much for your prompt and useful reply. I will look into it all. The multivit/mineral is supposed to be a very good one but I will def look into individual supps.

My stomach acid problem is still with me and I seem to have been on Ranitidine for years now, as my stomach flares up when I dont take itI wonder if this could cause a malabsortion problem in itself?

I will look into blood test issues. Which would you recommend?

Many thanks

Alex

my lady had the same type of problem and was refered to moorefields adnexal dept [ mr v.] for thyroid eye disease , its taken almost 3 yrs to resolve the problem --- but we are there now -- and I cannot in any way fault them at all especially mr v. . it sounds like you may need to be checked out for t.e.d. --- the treatment can be treated in conjunction with your thyroid meds at the same time ---- non of my lady's treatment was ever invasive .... hope that this may help ....alan
