Brubru - you haven't put in the link :) Well done - it's amazing what you've done so far. I hope the weather is treating you well.

Shaws yesterday was really hard storm but today all blue sky. I'm doing really well all going to plan except for feet with blisters and one nail which I think I'll loose.

Sorry about your nail which must be painful and blisters too, poor you and poor feet. Hope you were able to soak them and look after them last night.

I had to treat my feet every night, but that was the only issue! Not tired, or lethargic, or the other issues!

That's great news and you've done brilliantly. What an experience. Well done!

Well done, BruBru.

Are you enjoying it or is it harder going than you expected?

Feet is the worst part Clutter. Body getting used to the exercise. The longest day so far was yesterday 33k under railstones but after a shower all is fine. Plenty of 70 years old taking me over in the hills but doing really well.

Thank you Louise. Internet has been patchy in the albergues I'm staying.

It's amazing Pastille. I give myself plenty of time to just stop and take in the amazing landscape.

I don't blame You! So would I, make the most of it and enjoy. Keep safe. You have inspired me to think about doing something like this myself when I get myself back a bit more and more energy. Thank you

I've spoken to many people in their 70's pastille so plenty of time. People are really friendly. Today I'm at the albergue and waiting for the phone to charge to go out and see the city.

Yes, Brubru, the power of positive thinking. I am on the waiting list for a hip replacement and hoping it will be within the next year.

A bit of healing and ex cerise and I'll be good to go, please God.

Amen! God bless you are going back to full health! I walked with an amazing lady who had a hip replacement, in her 60's and she finished The Way three days ahead of me without blisters!

Thanks for that encouragement B.

I have just turned 60. The hip is partly due to a fall off a ladder ( cleaning gutterings) this time last year.

The blisters must have been a nightmare. How did you manage, and what did you use that enabled you to finish at all. Amazing woman, you are.

That's great progress. You need to look after your feet, if you get some tea tree oil and rub it in it will stop blisters getting infected. Aciete del arbol de te is what you need...

And a glass of wine on arrival each evening.

Just seen this now! The wine part I've followed :-). It was always a hard choice in the restaurants, wine, soft drink and water cost exactly the same, so I never knew which one to order, but because of the feet *hah* I had to choose wine he he

Oh I hadn't realised you'd set off yet, I do hope it's going well, that your feet are ok, the weather is dry and not too hot and the food and wine are good :)

Good luck!

Bru Bru, where are you now?

Back two weeks ago! Not much time for the internet, and during the walk it was very patchy. :-)
