has anyone found wockartz easier to take than the other brands of levothyroxine

Mercury Pharma doesn't suit me but I'm fine on Actavis and/or Wockhardt.

Your pharmacist should be able to order in Wockhardt.

They sed they were then the pharma mercury turned up instead

The pharmacy needs to contact their supplier and tell them they want Wockhardt, not alternatives. Otherwise you need to get the prescription form back and take it to another pharmacy.

When say doesn't suit. Can you expand please. I appear to be struggling on mercury (tight throat ) and going to talk to my Dr.

'Doesn't suit' in my case meant palpitations were more severe, in Vivienneferreira's case upset stomach, and its possible your tight throat might be less troublesome if you try another make like Actavis or Wockhardt. Ask your pharmacist to dispense one of those next time your prescription is filled. If the pharmacist is unobliging ask for the prescription form to be returned and take it elsewhere.

Hi vivienneferreira , yes I find that Wockhardt is the only one that suits me. Actavis brand was ok but I prefer Wockhardt. I had a really bad reaction to Mercury Pharma brand. I felt totally out of control and really over-emotional and felt like I was going mad! (and my hypo symptoms worsened!)

I take Wockhardt and do okay on it, i still get palpitations but no where near as bad as when i was on Mercury Pharma hideous stuff.

That's the main reason I changed from mercury to actavis last year,, had terrible stomach issues, really painful.

I didn't like the sucrose in wokhardt but irrelevant now as I'm on 100s actavis. However if I needed an extra 25 in future I'd prob go for wokhardt as mercury was a nightmare on my stomach.
