Hi and welcome, have you been diagnosed? Do you have any blood test results to share?

I am the same. I am not ever given my test results. Should I be asking for them?

Yes!  Get printouts and post your results, together with the ranges, on here.  There are plenty of people around who will be able to advise :)

I was exactly same prior to diagnosis. I did literally sleep on the floor. My husband uses to pull me out of bed before he went to work, I just used to curl up on the floor and continue to sleep. And I had two young children, one just started school and the other a baby. It used to take me an hour to take my oldest to school which was 10 minutes away, then I'd get back home and sleep on the sofa. And, of course, according to my GP I was just a mum with two young children so that was the cause of my tiredness! Two years later I was diagnosed with hypo.

Have you had a diagnosis of hypothyroidism? If so then you are not on enough thyroid meds or it is not working properly for you. If not diagnosed then ask for a full thyroid panel then make a new post with results, including the reference ranges, and members can comment.

Also, ask for B12, Vit D, ferritin and Folate to be tested, all part and parcel of the whole picture. Low in them can contribute to tiredness. Also, if on thyroid meds then they all need to be optimal for thyroid hormone to work properly.

Know that feeling only too well! Do ask for your blood test results, and see if your GP will check your B12, ferritin & folate. My energy levels got much better once my low B12 was treated. It often accompanies thyroid issues. Also your thyroid medication might need adjusting.
