Well doctors said am a little over active !!!!! I feel like am dieing shacking sweeting dizzy hard hurts so much dry mouth stomach hurts can't sleep feel if I go to sleep I'll not wake up help given me no meds just to get checked in a few weeks don't want this

It will help members advise if you post your thyroid results and ranges (the figures in brackets after results).  Your GP receptionist should be able to give you a print out of your results if you don't have them.

Sorry that you are still not feeling very well.  Perhaps you should ask the receptionist

at the surgery to print out all the blood results, this will give you the ranges so that

others much more clued up than I am will be able to advise you what to do next.

I have an overactive thyroid condition and have another flare up right now after

being in remission for 12 months.  I wasn't surprised as I recognized the nasty

symptoms, but I am disappointed to be honest.  I know that the medication will help me to feel better soon.  I hope that your doctor will check you again very soon so

that if you need  to take tablets this will be done sooner rather than later.

You are not on your own with nasty symptoms.  Under/over active thyroid is a

roller coaster ride and the very last thing that you need with a small baby and three

other youngsters to look after.  Keep your chin up Shell04, you can feel better

if you have the correct medication.  Big hugs. xxx

How do you know you are overactive?  Have you had symptoms?  Do not be swayed by blood tests alone.
