diarrhoea after hemi thyroidectomy

Has anybody experienced diarrhoea after having this surgery? many thanks.

Have they started you on thyroxine medication? That can cause diarrhea if you take too much on starting it. I've had two partial thyroidectomies, but no diarrhea until starting thyroxine - and that went after dropping the dose, and then increasing it more slowly.

This is me currently, it's chronic too I'm not on thyroxine. Had sergery on 11th July and had it since .

Have you mentioned to doctor as going on for more than few days?

Are you taking any new supplements or medications including pain killers? That might be causing it.

Change of diet?

I'm off medication I was only taking paracetamol so doubt it's that, diets the same I'm just like hmmm?
