I no I am still in the early stages of hypothyroidism - on 75 mg or levothyroxine - month 4 but in the last 2-3 weeks I have gained another 1/2 stone. Since January I have been going to the gym 4 nights a week so should be feeling better, more awake and more healthy but instead I feel sick drained and depressed that all the hard work is making me gain still. Has anyone any tips to at least keep my weight the same? I know it is impossible to lose weight until my dosage is right but surely there's something I can do to keep the same weight? Currently I am 5 stone away from what I should be (what I was before I started with all these symptoms and finally got tested after being told for years it was down to having the implant).

Until you are adequate dose of thyroxine, strenuous exercise may just make situation worse, as Grey goose suggested in previous reply.
Best to do something more gentle and regular - eg 20-40 minute walk every day if you can manage that. Or gentle yoga.
When next go for blood test, ask for Vit D, folate, ferratin and B12 levels to be checked as well as BOTH types of thyroid antibody. When you get actual blood test results - post on here the figures with ranges ( figures in brackets) and members can advise.
I'm also on 75mcg. Am currently maintaining at 4 stone overweight by basically eating a restrictive diet with occasional treats. At the moment weight loss is not on the agenda until I feel my body is able to metabolise some of these reserves.
To be honest, any exercise seems to make the situation worse for me... overdoing it leads to a cycle of inflammation with long recovery times.
Don't push yourself and be kinder to yourself; it isn't your fault! Just keep relatively active and try and avoid crashing because it is not good for your physical or emotional health.
