So found out yesterday that I have had very recently mono/Epstein Barr virus,a lot of yeast in my body and my thyroid antibodies are in the 800's. So the verdict is my doctor put me on nystatin 3x a day for 6 weeks for the yeast,naltrexone for the antibodies and the Epstein Barr has to run its course. My question is I have been feeling extremely tired which I'm sure has to do with the yeast and epstein Barr and itchy which I'm sure is due to yeast but my face has also been numb I'm wondering if the high antibodies or Epstein Barr can cause that

I'm interested in your doctor prescribing naltrexone for the antibodies. I have recently found out via private blood testing that my antibodies are very high also and I want to visit my GP with this information. I have a whole list of things for him but I want to deal with any related questions gradually.

I didn't know there was anything that could be taken for high antibodies and it does worry me about the destructive effect they could have on my body.

Do you know if naltrexone is generally prescribed for this or is it something I should raise with him if not suggested.

There is no treatment for antibodies. All they can do is treat to support the thyroid and any other problems arising.
