What did you eat or what pills did you take recently? It's a reaction to something but not severe. I had the itchy ears then lip and eyelids also palms after I took a new med, it was almost immediate for me ( within twenty mins) take antihistamine

I have this, it is not severe and something I've got used to, like scratching your head. It is since being diagnosed Hypothyroid and I have assumed that it goes along with the dry, flaky, skin side of the condition. I just pop on unscented moisturiser when they bother me. :)

Often a sign the body is detoxing from toxins. Could be something you are eating, meds you are taking, intolerances, chemicals in shampoos, body wash, soap, detergent etc. Process of elimination but I always advise start with something like dr bronners Un-perfumed liquid soap and use it for everything - washing, shampoo, cleaning, laundry etc - that way you have eliminated loads of external toxins in one go. If it continues then look at meds and food. Start with newest introductions and work back. Better still / if you can/ get an intolerance test with a reliable practitioner and remember to take along any meds or unusual foods, cleaning products, soaps etc for testing. 💜

Try taking an anti-histamine (the kind of thing people take for hay fever). They also help with allergies to other things besides pollen. If your itchy ears is caused by an allergy then the anti-histamine may help.

It may well do - but it should only be a temporary measure - it's not addressing the cause 😉

I'm not suggesting it as a permanent measure, my suggestion was given in the hope of finding out whether the problem was caused by an allergy.

If the anti-histamines helped, then the next stage would be to try and find out what the allergy was caused by.

maybe it's just a fungus, after not drying properly after washing. It's happened with me also. Try to use anti fungal cream . It's may help
