"It states clearly that TSH should be downgraded to a merely supporting role, and that the role of free thyroid hormones are more important. It also states that other/new biological markers are actually required to assess if thyroid hormones are actually sufficient and working well for the individual. Well done this research team."

This paper reflects the advice and opinions on this website from members anecdotally from their own experiences and it is fantastic to have this recognised. It is backed by considered research.
But will it bring the change it reflects is required and, more importantly, how long will that take?
A long time I regret! The only way forward is to go on and on and on, producing more and more irrefutable evidence until the walls fall down (ever so slowly and reluctantly but fall down they will - fact always overcomes fiction). Perhaps not in my lifetime though (but that won't be long).
