I'm not medically qualified to answer that but if it's any help I have Graves and my temperature was and is, never all that high - it probably ranges from 35.7 to 36.6 no matter how hot or ill I am feeling.

I can feel really awful, shove the thermometer into my mouth positive I must have a temperature but nope, it only reads 36.7

Hi Numberone1,

Somewhere in my Medical file I have printed off some old Thyroid information which states that 10% of both Hyperthyroids and Hypothyroids have cross over symptoms, but do check it out yourself. It might even be on the main Thyroid UK site, but not sure.

I suppose what I'm saying is that if temps are used to judge the taking of medication, how would we know if we're taking too much or too little?

Hi Numberone

I have just posted a similar question to yours as am a tad confused. Do you feel cold or chills when your thyroid is hyper? Mine is slightly overactive at the mo yet my hands and feet are cold most of the time. My temp doesnt go over 35.9 Just had to go put on a thick cardigan!
