I suffered quite badly from this in the early stages and now it seems to have raised its ugly head again. I increased my levo from 100 to 125 in October but that's the only thing that's different. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Also what I can do about it?

You could try taking 100mcg for 2-3 of nights and see whether that helps. If so you could maybe take 100mcg and 125mcg on alternate days and see if that works for you. It takes 6-8 weeks for a new level of Thyroxine to build up in your system, so maybe you are now a bit over medicated (but not by much). I see from one of your earlier posts that your FT4 is quite high but your FT3 is not far up the range. I think I have read that some people get insomnia and anxiety when they take plenty of T4 and it isn't being converted into FT3.
For me, sleep, weight, overall wellness [when other factors seem 'even'], are obviously determined by our hormones. Just when we think things are getting 'fixed', something re-emerges or a new one pops up.
Have you had your cortisol levels tested? I often sleep fine but there are times when it feels as if my cortisol cycle is reversed (wide awake at night 'ping', like the meerkat from hell, then other times nothing to 'get me up and go' at morning as if no sleep at all), yet where nothing externally has changed.
Cortisol seems to mainly be tested by NHS with a blood test, whereas the private x4 over the day 'spit test' is meant to be way more accurate [scoffed at by mainstream doctors].
