If you aren't on a sufficient dose of levo you might well find full-time working difficult as you may well be fatigued before the day is out. Or you might just feel unwell.

What dose of levo do you take. Have you a copy of your latest blood test results with the ranges so that we can comment/help.

many struggle with working part time..... Your meds need to give you levels of free t3 and free t4 which are top end of range. Where are yours?

yes I now work part time and had to give up a job that I loved as I just couldn't do it any more and I'm a fit 58 was only 50 when I had to give up full time work, I seem to crash and burn a lot faster than I did before.

Hi martin. I have also given up a career I loved and struggle to work in my 'easy' part time job with Hashi's. I'm 27!

It's a roller coaster journey for most of us. I hope things start to improve for you soon. I'm sure others will be along with suggestions to help your energy levels.

Believe it or not I run seven miles most days but that's not the same as thinking! My body is fit but my mind can't keep up. I work part time in the tax office doing the most complicated job I've ever done, I'm just waiting for them to get rid of me as I'm like Captain Chaos most days!

Oh Martin, that's excellent you are managing so much physical exercise as that will be making you feel much better than if you weren't doing it, if that makes sense!

Yes, I was struggling so much mentally in my career. This is when I had always been the most efficient, most organised and most willing to work over time but still not miss a trick.

I suppose everything happens for a reason. Good on you though. Your focus will come back and brain fog will left when you are optimally treated in one way or another. I'm not so up to speed on hypo as I am hyper so sorry I can't offer any advice, only consolation :)
