Today diagnosed with Deep vein Thrombosis, any advice please.

Probably because you don’t eat, you’re stunting your already stunted metabolism

Do some yoga, go for a walk, or run. You’ll work up an appetite

After my partial thyroidectomy I developed the no appetite due to it pushing me into overt hypothyroidism. There's the hunger but the appetite is absent. Most days I walk around the kitchen looking for something to eat but it's hard to put meals together. I find myself eating a pickle or an egg, a banana, an orange. Sometimes some chicken and rice or oats. I love food so it's difficult. High T4 and low T3 levels makes the bloating and appetite worse for me. I have difficulty taking in information as well. I have to read things over and over.

Hi there. I have really been struggling since covid. Autoimmune thyroiditis and due to lockdown haven't been checked for ages. Have difficulty standing up and even breathing

Scares the life out of me. Most days I stay in bed. This is so not me

Shenka I'm going through the exact same thing! Word for word! I hate this disorder. People who don't have it don't understand.

I am the same, but my IBS is adding a bloated, nauseous gut, as well. Some days i struggle to keep down a single serve of cup-of-soup. Despite some thinking you can always just work out and get hungry, they truley don't understand what this side of thyroid disease is like for those of us going through it.

Is your diet gluten free? I haven't been successful at going 100% gluten free so far, but working on it.

Best of luck, Bubbatetley. Hoping this passes quickly for you.

HI, Thank you for replying.I just don't eat, all I have is a few crackers day. I'm never hungry and cant tolerate foods that really have strong odours.. I do have an eating disorder

which I have had for years.. But since having Hypothyroidism it has got worse.
