I've picked up my first prescription for levothyroxine today, and am hopeful that after previous premature births and recurrent miscarriages that we are now going in the right direction.
I would like to take it tonight, rather than wait until the morning, but wondered how long I need to have waited after eating?
I am thinking of taking it at around 9 or 10pm tonight.

Chasing-Rainbows, Levothyroxine should be taken 1 hour before food and drink, or two hours after, two hours away from other medication and supplements, and 4 hours away from iron, calcium, vitaminD, B12 and oestrogen.
Research has demonstrated better results from taking Levothyroxine at night.
I hope you'll have your thyroid levels optimised in a few months and you have a successful pregnancy.

I take my levo at night i leave between 4 and 5 hours before taking my levo after eating i dont know if thats correct buts thats just what i do. What is your starting dose?
Hopefully your GP will make sure your TSH is below 1 and your FT4 at the high end of the range. I am sorry for your losses, but now, hopefully the future will be brighter for you.
