Even though your symptoms may not be being alleviated by the doses your GP has put you on does not mean that a higher dose may make you feel any better but can cause other health problems. I was put on a higher dose several years ago and this caused me to go Hyper and has resulted in my bones being affected and I now have severe osteoporosis in my spine & shoulders.

Sorry to hear that.
We always advise people to look at the whole picture as a higher dose is not the solution for everyone and they may need to look at other causes for their continuing symptoms, such as B12 deficiency, non or poor conversion of T4 to T3 and low iron levels to name just a few.
