GG, interesting, shame chamomile tea is so disgusting though. There's a lot of chat about overdiagnosis in the USA, so that might knock the 30 year 80% protection claim a bit. Tobacco and alcohol are supposed to give some protection against thyCa but didn't prevent me getting it
Well, you know what they say, if it's disgusting, it must be doing you good! lol The French drink a lot of chamomile tea. They put a spoonful of honey in it, it's not so bad, then. You could also try maple syrup, or coconut sugar...
GG, I'll pass, thyroid is on a slide or in an incerator now
Yes, well, might interest somebody else.
I sincerely hope it's in the incinerator! Not the sort of thing we want hanging about! lol That really freaked me out when I was in hospital, the incinerator was just opposite the café. I used to sit on the terrace and shudder at the thought...
GG, I've always found it rather revolting when patients keep their removed calcium stones
Oh, I know! When I had my gall bladder out, they just gave them to me. I didn't ask for them!
But the worst was when a friend had his slipped disc operated, they gave him the bits they'd cut out, in a jar, and he kept it by his bed! Thank god they didn't do that when I had my slipped disc op!!! It was hard enough, without that.
