It depends where you are - if you are in the UK and happen to be in Somerset. Somerst CCG have issued directions for GPs not to give this out, seems they do not have the 'understanding or knowledge' ~Seems that the CCG do not either. However if you are under a consultant who understands and actually prescribed T3 for a patient, then that consultant can continue to prescribe. Of course this then shifts the costs to the hospital, plus the extra work in prescribing it. Method??? No I would think just nil thought of the patients that need this drug.

No I'm afraid to self medicate 😥. But I am not well every day I seem to b getting more symtoms . Sorry if I can't help you out but if your looking for it I'm sure clutter will help

Oh ok. Yeah I guess the only way is to have the guidance of a private endocrinologist who is open to the idea of prescribing T3. Can be pretty pricey! Good luck with your health. I hope you are able to get your symptoms under control.
