Hello my doctor did a TSI test and my result was 1.1 she said their cut of point was 1.0 but because I was only 1 point over she wasn't worried, can anyone tell me if I should be worried and what the TSI test is for.

Thanx Tracy

Tracybet, positive Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin means you have Graves Disease which causes hyperthyroidism. Your previous blood results showed suppressed TSH and slightly elevated FT3 although your FT4 was in normal range. Are you being treated with Carbimazole or just being monitored?

Hiya I have been put on PTU just been upped from 50mgs to 100 mgs, as I had an allergic reaction to carbimazole. my FT4 is now 16.5 Ft3 6.67 Tsh still 0.01 x

Tracybet, It can take years for TSH to recover but it looks like FT4 and FT3 are responding to PTU.
