i have hashimotos im worried that my daughter has some form of an auto immune disease she has suffered from dry eyes for years and now has a serious form of conjunctivitis

Bossbird, If your daughter also has dry mouth and nasal passages it may be worth checking Sjogrens.

I have had problems with sore eyes a few times in the last couple of years, also have Hashi's. Doctor diagnosed me one time with conjunctivitis, went to optometrist another time and was only diagnsed with really dry eyes. Not sure if it is connected to Hashi's or computer use.

I have been taking vitamin A for a month or so and my eyes are a lot better, not so red, weeping, painful or dry.

Vitamin A (with retinox,) is good for eyes and lungs and something else I believe, (cannot remember,) it helps build new air sacs in Emphysema sufferers too.
