Chris Kresser has a new post on this topic which I think is pretty good. He also covers testing and the problem that conventional medicine only looks at the extreme adrenal conditions. PR

I found that talk rather strange. There was mention of high cortisol being far more studied than low cortisol, something I wasn't aware of. I kept on expecting Chris Kresser to give some indication of how high cortisol should be treated, but I didn't see any actual suggestions. Yes, I understand that it is caused by high stress and people should reduce their stress levels. But I'm not clear on how people are supposed to do that.

The talk was interesting, but in the end it was very woolly. Or maybe I just expected something that was never promised.
