Yes, I think it probably is. Your body's just got used to you taking it, and now it wants more - but as you know, you have to take it slow because it takes a while for the levels in your body to catch up and it's very easy to overshoot.

I know I spent a few days last week (just before I raised to 2 grains) feeling very out of sorts, and stupidly emotional to boot! A few days into the raise and I feel much better again, but I wouldn't be surprised if I went downhill again in a couple of weeks - unless of course 2 grains turns out to be enough. Maybe it will... :)

Thanks Jazz. I know, we want an automatic fix and it don't work like that. It's a tough road I have to say. We will both hang in there.

Debbers, it's perfectly normal. You're only just absorbing the initial dose which won't have a full impact for another 3 weeks. It will get better a few weeks after you are optimally dosed. Increase slowly and gradually and you'll get there.

This is a handy link explaining how thyroid dose increases work thyrophoenix.com/adjusting_...

Thanks Clutter, I'm going crazy here and the shedding still. I'm surprised I still have hair lol and then feeling funky on top of that. I will read the link. I'll try be patient. I want to get myself back. I'm still kicking myself for coming off the Armour. I should have called my doc right away. A lesson to me and this all could have been avoided. It's like suicide coming off our meds.

Debber, what's done is done, you're back on meds now and that's what matters. Just tell yourself it'll only be a few weeks before you can stop picking up hair balls and the warm weather that comes with spring will encourage new hair growth.

Yeah Clutter, what is done is done. And yes, you're exactly right hair balls and I'm trying so hard to keep it picked up. It used be so beautiful and long but I am gradually cutting it and not as thick but it's only hair, right! You're right new will come in. I get tired of seeing it and I am trying so hard not chop it all. I'll be patient. There is hair coming in as with the amt hair I lost I obviously should have been bald.

Debber, it can help to have it regularly trimmed as removing the split/broken ends makes it less likely to tangle until it's back to its previous glory :)

Yeah that's what I doing. Sometime I just have cut knot out. But the tangling has settled a bit but still does sometimes. It probably cause thinned out too
