I'm on 100 mg levothyroxine for my under active thyroid, every time I go for blood tests I'm told it's satisfactory. I still feel so tired all the time and am gaining weight still. Fed up now is an understatement

You need your results, Dawn. 'Normal' and healthy are two very different things when it comes to the thyroid world. Go along to your GP surgery and ask for your most recent results to be printed out. You are entitled to have them, don't take no for an answer - although they are allowed to make a small charge for the trouble. Then post them here in a new post. Make sure you give the range (usually in brackets after the level) and you'll find plenty of folk to comment.

The most likely explanation is that although your levels are within what is considered normal (ie 95% of patients they test are within that range) they are nowhere near optimal. But also in some cases we don't process the standard medication terribly well, and as a result don't have enough of the active hormone in our systems.
