Hashimotos or not !: Hi can anyone tell me if my... - Thyroid UK
Hashimotos or not !
Shazzy, you have low antibodies but are negative for autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) as your result is under 60. Some lab ref ranges consider over 34 to be positive. This could mean that you may go on to develop Hashimoto's so you may want to consider a gluten-free diet which can reduce antibodies and may prevent progression.
