Memory problems

I feel my memory is getting worse. Could either be thyroid or menopausal, I tend to think the latter. Has anyone tried any natural product that has helped?

Thanks :)

B12, ashwaghanda and T3 (OK, not natural). I was really bad when my adrenals were completely knackered (forgetting what I was saying half way through a sentence etc|). Now they are only a bit duff, I am much better. Didn't coincide with menopause, but started with adrenal problems in my mid-30s.

Tbh I dont think it's adrenal problems but I am thinking of going back on the B12

Agreed with Angel about B12. But also sleep. Need decent sleep. I must keep regular hours (no more party animaling for me) or I'm non functional. This was not the case when I was younger. It took less time to get restorative sleep in those days.

Same here, I go to bed early on a regular basis, but must admit my sleep is not of good quality.

Could it be B12 ? Have you had it tested ?

I was tested about a year back and I think I was about 2/3 in the range so thought I was ok?

If Hypo your result needs to be at the top of the range. The range starts at 500 in Japan and anything under 500 can cause cognitive decline. Even following this forum I am sure you are aware that everyone says how B12 needs to be optimal. You will read in the link I posted for you about how only about 20% of your result is available at a cellular level where it is needed. You will learn the importance of B12 by reading the link - Docs are simply not up to speed where vitamins and minerals are concerned. Am afraid we have to take care of ourselves..... Many Hypo symptoms overlap with B12 deficiency....

I'm hyper, I have Graves disease

Apologies for my error. I suspect you will still need to be optimal with vitamins and minerals....

Hope you soon feel better...

I have exactly the same problem. I am currently reading a book by Datis Kharrazian "Why isn't my brain working?" which is really excellent and explains the many reasons why a person might have memory problems. I find that I can recognise my own symptoms and possible nutritional deficiencies as I read the book. I would recommend it strongly. Here is a link to it:
