Hello to all
Just wanted to say after 6 months of strange hyper feelings my thyroiditis attacks have calmed down and I am feeling, dare I even say the words 'back to normal...'
I hope this is a good sign?

Runnergirl, that's good news. Did you make any dietary or other changes to help this along?
Hi Clutter
Can I say thank you for all your advice, this site has kept me going through some very dark days.
Regarding changes I have made, I have tried to eliminate gluten but I admit I could be stricter with the diet. I forced myself to leave the house even though I was feeling panicky, and I kept going with some exercise. The smallest things seemed impossible at times though. It's very dificult for people to understand how it affects you.
After months and months of flare ups I am hoping the gland has destroyed? If only! My bloods are due end of August so we shall see.
Thanks again
RG

One of the things I realised was you can't always rely on the medical profession, and as a nurse it saddens me to say that. When you know something isn't right, it usually isn't.
As for helping yourself, You have helped so many people on this site, and that really is impressive!
