I have had diarrhoea for the past 2 weeks - possibly related to a brand change of Levothyroxin.

Can this affect the absorption of levothyroxin?

I also had diarrhoea for 23 days after a change in Levo and a blood test proved that the dose was slightly too much, so have had to lower it. It took a few days to improve.

Nadenud, if the diarrhoea is frequent you may lose the thyroxine before you properly absorb it. If, say it is early in the morning, take your thyroxine after. If you think the diarrhoea is caused by an allergic reaction to the changed brand try taking an antihistamine an hour before your thyroxine.
