I have been told it has dropped to 0.04 . What can I do to increase this?

Pookey, The increased dose will have caused the drop in TSH. Increases and decreases are usually in 25mcg increments to allow the body to adapt to changes in hormone levels. How you feel is more important than what your TSH is. If you feel good stick with your current dose but if you feel over medicated (palpitations, racing heart, anxiety, diarrhoea, breathless) then your thyroxine needs decreasing by 25mcg initially.
If you have Hashimoto's it can be difficult to stabilise medication as your thyroid sputters in and out of use disrupting your meds so you feel overmedicated and then undermedicated.
Hi Clutter, thanks for your feedback. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism in 1996 and was really poorly b4 this result and have been on 100mg since. It's the only time my medication has been changed. I have had palpitations etc so cutting the 25 out every other day. I don't feel right but tend to just get on with everything. Can increased exercise or vitamin tablets make any difference, my GP rang me and asked how I was feeling and she decide over the phone what we have to do next. Thx again Pookey
