Bloated, looking like lm expecting. Passing wind and smells bad ......
I eat at a lot of yoghurt which really helps me. Perhaps you could try a high dose probiotic. I have also cut out wheat (not gluten) which has helped too.
I'd cut out wheat if I were you! Straight away - don't eat it and see if it makes a difference.
Hi Slit
That's for replying,by wheat you mean bread,any kind bread,including biscuits included,also cakes,sounds like a diet...LOL

Hi Sue, yes, I mean cut out everything with wheat in like, cakes, bids, bread, pasta, cereals etc, have a look at bought and ready made things like sausages and check they have no wheat. I had your horrendous symptoms of the bloating etc etc and was advised by a nutritionist to give up wheat. I never got bloated again!! Start to eat a bit more protein and that will fill you up without the bloating. Lunches were a problem at first but now I make lovely salad and bean, nut and fish lunches. Really delicious, no wheat and very filling too.
The other thing I found I reacted to with the same bloating symptoms was sulphites (preservatives) and firming agents like calcium chloride that they use in tinned goods to stop them going mushy in the water. I now eat 'clean and lean'. The bloating stopped and I lost 12lbs without hardly noticing and never feeling hungry.
Its not a diet, it's a way of life.
I quite agree - these were my symptoms (plus awful stomach ache) before I cut out wheat. You will notice the difference pretty quickly. x
Did it come on suddenly? Have you had antibiotics recently? Have you had a gastric bug recently? Any changes in your diet? It could be that you have caught a gastric bug or parasites. Chewing your food well and slowly helps with digestion. Smelly wind can be due to poor protein digestion.
I noticed I was having terrible wind and having to dash to the toilet every afternoon about 4pm - this went on for some time (weeks) before I realised it was probably bread I was eating at lunchtime. I cut out the bread and it cleared up. I am not coeliac, just intolerant. Have recently found I am lactose intolerant too - that caused a rumbling stomach. I follow a gluten/wheat free diet (not sure if I have a gluten problem). Its not too difficult and gluten/wheat free breads, cakes, biscuits etc, even gluten free sausages are easy to come by (but more expensive of course!). Much nicer than they used to be too. There are lots of gluten/wheat free recipes for bread and cakes which are very nice also. If you cut out wheat ASAP I'm sure it will help get your problem sorted before your holidays, provided as Bonsaikid says it has not come on suddenly in which case maybe a visit to the doc (how we hate this!) might be necessary. x
Dairy caused my problem. If I've eaten stuff I should not for me that's mainly gluten, dairy mainly but also eggs and onion family I blow up. Once I've a few days of being strict the bloating subsides
Hi I suffer from this also, found it to be more dairy intolrance with me,
