With hashimotos? My levels are all normal. I take calcium with added vitamin d daily. Thank you.

Taking both Calcium and VitD is not advised unless you know you have low calcium levels, are these prescribed supps and do you have regular calcium blood tests ?

High calcium levels can be dangerous and could well be the cause of your problem.

Another cause to consider is an IBS type issue or ulcerative colitis.

I have Hashimoto's and i had this for years - misdiagnosed by nhs as IBS, turned out to be coeliac. Try cutting out gluten. You will be amazed

Hi hypohen, yes my calcium levels are low and i have regular checkups with my doc. I have been tested for coeliac and result was negative. I thought maybe my thyroid has cycled into hyper and this has caused it. I am gettin bloods done tomor so will be interesting to see. I am so frustrated with this disease. Annette

Coeliac tests are not accurate. Try a gluten and dairy free diet. Gluten and lactose cause an increase in antibodies. I have reduced my antibodies by being on gluten and dairy free diet. Isabell Wentz and RobbWolf have both written good books about autoimmune disease and die.t
