What happens if you have a tumour in your piturity gland

Hi i was wondering about what happens after you have a tumour removed from your piturity gland would you need hormone treatment etc would the gland still work tidy once removed . Any info would be great i.ve not got one but my nan did some years ago and died from not being treated so am just doing this out if courosity.

I have had a tumour removed from my piuitary and now take throxine for hypothyroid and desmopressin for diabetes insipidus. Treatment needed depends on damage to pituitary I know other people who need lots more medication than I do.
